Authors are invited to submit original and high-quality scholarly manuscripts to Journal of Economic Growth and Development Review (JEGAR). Submissions should demonstrate a clear contribution to economic growth, development, structural transformation, inclusion, innovation, or sustainable economic development and must comply with the journal's editorial, ethical, and manuscript preparation requirements.
Manuscripts submitted to JEGAR must present original scholarly work that has not been published previously and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
Submissions should demonstrate a clear contribution within one or more of the journal's principal areas: Economic Growth and Structural Transformation, Inclusive Development, Human Capital and Institutions, Innovation, Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, or Sustainable, Green and Blue Economic Development.
Local or sector-specific case studies are welcome when they provide broader theoretical, analytical, comparative, or policy relevance. Manuscripts that are primarily descriptive without a clear economic development contribution may be considered outside the journal's scope.

JEGAR applies a double-anonymous peer review process. The manuscript file submitted for review must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other information that directly identifies the authors.
Full author names, institutional affiliations, countries, email addresses, and ORCID identifiers should be entered separately through the OJS submission metadata.
Manuscripts should be submitted in an editable word-processing format and prepared using the official JEGAR manuscript template where available.
Original research articles should generally include:
The title should be concise, specific, informative, and clearly indicate the principal economic issue, relationship, geographical context, or analytical contribution examined in the manuscript.
Author metadata submitted through OJS should include the author's full name, institutional affiliation, country, email address, and ORCID identifier where available.
The abstract should normally contain approximately 150–250 words and summarize the research problem, objective, data or methodology, principal findings, and main contribution or policy implication.
Authors should provide 3–6 keywords that accurately represent the main economic concepts, methods, sectors, or development issues addressed in the study.
The Introduction should establish the economic and scholarly context of the study, explain the research problem, identify the relevant knowledge or policy gap, state the objective or research questions, and clearly explain the novelty and contribution of the manuscript.
Authors should critically engage with relevant theoretical and empirical literature rather than provide a descriptive list of previous studies.
The literature review should establish how the manuscript relates to existing knowledge and should identify the theoretical, empirical, methodological, or policy gap addressed by the study.
Where appropriate, hypotheses, conceptual relationships, theoretical propositions, or analytical frameworks should be clearly stated.
The methodology should be described with sufficient detail to allow readers to understand and evaluate the research design and analytical procedures.
Authors should clearly identify data sources, study period, variables, sampling procedures, measurement, model specification, estimation methods, analytical techniques, validation procedures, and relevant assumptions.
For econometric studies, authors should report appropriate diagnostic, specification, robustness, or sensitivity tests where relevant. Qualitative and mixed-method studies should clearly describe participant selection, data collection, coding, interpretation, and analytical procedures.
Results should be presented clearly, logically, and supported by appropriate tables, figures, statistical results, qualitative evidence, or other relevant analysis.
Authors should interpret the economic meaning of the results rather than merely repeat numerical outputs.
The Discussion should relate the findings to relevant theory and previous research, explain agreements or differences with earlier studies, discuss broader development implications, and clearly demonstrate the manuscript's scholarly contribution.
The Conclusion should summarize the principal findings and clearly state their contribution to economic growth or development research.
Where relevant, authors should explain practical or policy implications supported by the findings. Recommendations should be specific and directly connected to the evidence presented in the manuscript.
Study limitations and directions for future research may also be included.
Authors should provide the following information where applicable:
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, ethical compliance, and interpretation of all submitted content.
Tables and figures should be relevant, clearly presented, appropriately numbered, and referred to in the manuscript text.
Each table and figure should have an informative title or caption and identify data sources where applicable.
Authors should avoid presenting the same information unnecessarily in both tables and figures. Numerical notation, units, currencies, percentages, and statistical significance indicators should be used consistently throughout the manuscript.
References should be relevant, credible, and sufficient to establish the theoretical, empirical, and policy context of the manuscript.
Authors are encouraged to engage with recent peer-reviewed international literature while also citing important foundational studies where relevant.
References should not be included solely to increase citation counts, and excessive or irrelevant self-citation should be avoided.
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) should be provided whenever available. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all citations and references are complete and accurate.
Reference formatting should follow the style specified in the official JEGAR manuscript template.
Before submission, authors should confirm that:
All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for relevance, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and adherence to journal requirements.
Manuscripts that pass initial screening may proceed to double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
Authors receiving a revision decision should respond carefully to reviewer and editor comments and provide a clear point-by-point response describing revisions made to the manuscript.
Submission of a revised manuscript does not guarantee acceptance. The final decision remains the responsibility of the editorial team.
Following formal acceptance, manuscripts may undergo copyediting, metadata verification, layout preparation, proofreading, and other production procedures prior to publication.
Any applicable Article Processing Charge is governed by the JEGAR Journal Policies and is independent of manuscript evaluation and editorial decision-making.
Authors may be asked to review and approve publication proofs. Published articles are made openly accessible in accordance with the journal's open-access and licensing policy.
